Victoria’s Secret Target Of A Nationwide ‘Nurse- In’

RACINE, Wis. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Victoria’s Secret lingerie stores will be the targets of a nationwide “Nurse-In” being organized by two nursing moms who don’t like how store employees treated women who had to breast feed their kids while shopping there.

Co-organizer Rebecca Cook says one corporate official even compared nursing in public to “trying on clothes in the middle of the store.”

Cook is asking nursing moms from around the U.S. to show up at their local Victoria’s Secret at noon on Saturday (July 1) and nurse in the store.

She figures “if Victoria’s Secret will not train employees how to treat nursing moms, we’ll do it for them.”

Victoria’s Secret spokesman Anthony Hebron says the company welcomes the “Nurse-In” and thinks it’s a good thing the subject of nursing is coming to light.

However, Cook says if Victoria’s Secret really wants to make nice, they’ll release a new line of sexy nursing bras; something that Hebron admits is not in the works.
