‘Queer Eye’ Posse Makes Over Sin City

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For the past three seasons, the five style gurus on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy have been combing the country helping clueless straight guys turn from drab to fab.

But for the June 6 season opener, the guys take on Las Vegas, a city not exactly known for good taste.

For style guru Kyan Douglas, the experience was a “gaudy flash and blur of memories” which he likened to a “nightmare you can’t quite remember the next day.”

Resident “culture vulture” Jai Rodriguez says the guys had to deal not only with the dry Vegas air but also with questionable club gear.

Plus, he thinks some Vegas vixens need a Queer Eye makeover more than their male companions.

As he puts it: “They need to get rid of those tennis skirts that are so short they can’t bend over to pick something up.”

Douglas says he was more traumatized by “shirts with a cheesy card motifs all over them.”

Despite these fashion faux pas, Rodriguez says he thinks they helped the straight men of Vegas as best they could but says if the dudes don’t keep up with their makeovers he wont be too upset and points out that “at least they got a nice couch” out of the deal.
