Language Teacher Gives Celebrity Pupils An ‘A’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – English may be one of the most common languages in the world, but that doesn’t mean Hollywood hotshots aren’t above learning other the lingo of other languages.

That’s the word from celebrity language teacher Madame Cecilia Rasmussen, who has been teaching folks for more than 15 years – ever since she taught her first star pupil Kate Capshaw how to speak French.

Rasmussen – who is fluent in Dutch, English, French, Spanish and Italian – has since coached Johnny Depp in French, Christina Aguilera in Spanish, and most recently helped Jack Black with his Spanish for the upcoming film, Nacho Libre.

Her secret? A special “whole brain” technique that utilizes the artistic and “magical” side of the brain – and which she says makes it possible for celebrities to learn a language in just 20 hour-long courses.

Although she has worked with dozens of Hollywood A-listers, Rasmussen is staying mum about who passed and who failed her courses.

As she puts it, “Celebrities are already artistic people and usually pick up on languages pretty easily.”
