Lalo Alcarez and Esteban Zul, who host The Pocho Hour of Power radio show in Los Angeles, are trying to promote racial harmony and assimilation of immigrants by offering $500 in prizes to the first American immigrant baby named after anti-immigrant CNN commentator, Lou Dobbs.
The child must be born in the U.S. of parents with notarized illegal status a term Alcaraz says his lawyers are still trying to define.
Alcaraz adds: CNNs people tell me Lou [Dobbs] just loves this kind of thing!, which he claims is funny because Dobbs certainly doesnt seem to love immigrants.
To claim the prize, the winning baby Lou must be born by September 16, 2006, and the proud parents must present the birth certificate during a live Pocho Hour broadcast.
