‘Leprechaun’ Actor May Get Into Character For St. Patrick’s Day

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Jennifer Aniston might be in for a big St. Paddy’s Day surprise tomorrow (Mar. 17).

Actor Warwick Davis, who portrayed the feisty leprechaun in all six of the Leprechaun horror films, admits he doesn’t normally celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in his native England, but he still has his character’s mischievous spirit.

He jokes that he might crank call Jennifer Aniston – his co-star in the first Leprechaun movie – and say in his best evil Leprechaun voice, “Don’t forget how you got started.”

In all seriousness, he says, “Apparently she doesn’t acknowledge that she’s done the film. I’ve heard she won’t talk about it. At the end of the day, that may have been what gave her her big break.”

Davis still holds the Leprechaun franchise close to his heart and even has an idea for a seventh film about his character vs. The Pirates of The Caribbean’s Jack Sparrow.

As he puts it, “The more absurdity, in a way, the better.”
