Celebrity Wax Figures Up For Auction

BUENA PARK, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’ve ever wanted to live with the entire cast of Star Trek, now’s your chance.

The recently closed Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park, California, is set to auction off its entire collection of celebrity wax figures, clothing, and TV and movie sets – i.e. the bridge of the Starship Enterprise – on March 11.

A company called Asset Reliance, Inc. is handling the auction, and President Edward Testo says the public can bid on national treasures like Julia Roberts in her Pretty Woman hooker dress or Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator by attending the live auction, submitting a proxy bid or by participating in the live simulcast on eBay.

Auction items can be viewed at and Testo expects the bidding to begin at $500 for each figure.

He admits he’s not sure if you could add a wick and turn a wax celebrity into a candle, but insists, “It would be the most expensive candle someone ever burnt!”
