Celebrities Discuss The Joys Of Guns At Christmas

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For many celebrities, the best Christmas memories involve guns.

That’s what columnist Jeanne Wolf learned while asking Hollywood hot shots about their most memorable holidays.

George Clooney’s favorite Christmas memory is the time a neighbor shot his dog in the butt and he got revenge by sneaking into his yard on Christmas Eve and sawing down a prized pine tree.

When Geena Davis was five, she wrote Santa Claus and asked for a gun for Christmas but didn’t specify which kind she wanted.

She says her parents wrote a letter from “Santa” that contained $5. Sadly, Davis recognized her Dad’s handwriting and figured out Santa was a phony, but she still spent the money on a gun anyway.

Kelsey Grammer’s best Christmas was when he was eight and his Dad gave him a rifle because, as he puts it, “it was a symbol I was becoming a grown-up.”

Finally, Nathan Lane says his most memorable Christmas was the year when his Dad fired off a round from his shotgun in the backyard and then told the family that Santa had committed suicide.
