Top U.S. Bars Can Drive You To Drink

OXFORD, Miss. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re driven to drink, there are some bars that are worth stopping at.

Nightclub and Bar Magazine has just selected its choices for the top 100 bars and clubs in America and while all of them have world class cocktails, some have added comforts and contests that are one-of-a-kind.

According to editor Taylor Rau, the Beach Bar at the W Hotel in San Diego has heated sand so guests can take off their shoes even during the chilliest time of year.

A Key West club known as Sloppy Joe’s also gets high marks because of its annual “Ernest Hemingway Lookalike Contest.”

Then there’s the Abbey in West Hollywood, which looks like a church and has converted an old pulpit into a modern disc jockey booth.

Finally, some people go to bars looking for someone to share their bed. If that’s the case, try a Miami club called “B.E.D.,” where the guests can sit on luxurious mattresses instead of chairs.
