Baseball Coach Returns To Wrestling After Years On The Ballfield

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You might not be nostalgic about getting your head slammed against the ground but, then again, you’re not Dale Torborg.

He’s the strength and conditioning coach of the Chicago White Sox, but a few years back, he was a pro wrestler known as The Demon.

It was a good time in Torborg’s life – especially because he met his wife, also a wrestler – but now he’s grappling with a comeback of sorts.

Tomorrow (Dec. 8), he will be wrestling on iMPACT! on Spike TV and in a pay-per-view special on Sunday (Dec. 11).

Torborg is happy to be wrestling once again but admits the years away from the sport have taken their toll. As he puts it, “You have ‘ring rust’ if you haven’t done it for a while.”

But while Torborg is enjoying his return to the ring, he doubts if it will once again become his day job. Still, he insists, “you never say never.”
