‘Wizard Of Oz’ A Spacey Flick About E.T.s?

PHOENIX (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Wizard Of Oz airs Dec. 3 on TNT, but here’s a little-known fact: The flick isn’t just about witches and munchkins, it also supplies important information about extraterrestrials.

Judy Kennedy, Phoenix-based author of Spiritual Practice, Occultism and Extraterrestrial Intelligence: A Travel Guide For Beyond The Rainbow (Paper Wings Publishing), believes Oz demonstrates how we can see the world “multidimensionally” and not just in black and white.

In addition, Kennedy says the Oz residents represent different types of E.T.s and the key is that Dorothy conquers them through her own power rather than relying on someone else saving her.

Kennedy says that’s why her favorite moment in the film is when Glinda asks, “Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” because, as she puts it, “Dorothy doesn’t realize we’re all witches. For instance, Jesus was a witch.”

While Kennedy believes the film teaches people how to deal with extraterrestrials, she says the flying monkeys don’t represent aliens but the people who try and hide the truth about them. And the Munchkins aren’t aliens either – they “simply represent a culture Dorothy isn’t used to.”
