A man who created an urban alternative to Trumps reality show thinks he has the answer.
Datari Turner describes his new mogul-in-training show, The Ultimate Hustler, as an urban-style Apprentice show, without The Donalds trademark bad hairstyle.
Thats because itll be hosted by bald hip-hop mogul Damon Dash, who recently sold Roc-A-Fella Records for a cut of $300 million.
Turner explains, I looked at the five biggest hip-hop moguls out there Diddy, Russell Simmons, Damon Dash, Jay-Z and Master P and together they have one year of college education...the year Diddy went to Howard.
The show is about teaching people how to build a company from scratch, focusing on tasks related to film production, clothing lines and music. But unlike The Apprentice, contestants on the show are given a bling-bling Ultimate Hustler chain that they have to take off when theyre eliminated.
The Ultimate Hustler debuts Oct. 4 on BET.
