Singer Candye Kane is organizing a show that will feature herself, a group of double-sized dancers called the Fat Bottom Burlesque Review and a phat jazz singer named Phatmandee.
The tour officially begins Friday (Sept. 9) in San Diego and Kane figures the heavyweight show will be empowering and promises a whole lot of female flesh onstage at one time.
Kanes no boob. She plans to squeeze her own 44GG breasts she calls them G as in gorgeous into corsets and a red sequined can-can dress and belt out fat positive songs like You Need A Great Big Woman To Show You How To Love and All You Can Eat (And You Can Eat It All Night Long).
It sounds light-hearted but Kane says the inspiration for the show is the everyday struggles of overweight men and women.
As she explains, The choices are either to be invisible or stand out. I encourage people to stand out.
