On Friday (Jul. 22) at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Mr. T will throw out the opening pitch of a baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox.
The former A-Team star will make the toss to Hall of Fame catcher Carlton Fisk with nothing on his feet but a pair of Hanes Double Tough Socks, which are supposedly reinforced in the heel and toes.
Although Mr. T admits hes no pitching guru, he promises the ball will get to the catcher. Even more importantly: The socks will go to people who need them. Mr. T only agreed to do the ceremonial pitch for Hanes because they committed to donating a few cases of socks to a Chicago homeless shelter.
