Mr. T Pitches One In His Socks

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Mr. T will do anything to help the less fortunate – even it means walking around shoeless in front of thousands of people.

On Friday (Jul. 22) at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Mr. T will throw out the opening pitch of a baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox.

The former A-Team star will make the toss to Hall of Fame catcher Carlton Fisk with nothing on his feet but a pair of Hanes “Double Tough Socks,” which are supposedly reinforced in the heel and toes.

Although Mr. T admits he’s no pitching guru, he promises “the ball will get to the catcher.” Even more importantly: The socks will go to people who need them. Mr. T only agreed to do the ceremonial pitch for Hanes because they committed to donating “a few cases of socks to a Chicago homeless shelter.”
