Virgin Mary Patronizes San Diego Restaurant

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Virgin Mary is getting around these days. Besides appearing on grilled cheese sandwiches, she’s also making appearances at one Souplantation restaurant in San Diego.

Customers recently noticed a 9-inch-by-3-inch image of the Virgin Mary on a piece of pine paneling and now restaurant manager Brett McFeely is doing lots of soul-searching to figure out the next step.

McFeely says he’d like to keep the blessed pine knot in its original location but may consider removing it if there’s any risk of theft.

So far, the image hasn’t appeared at any of the chain’s 100-or-so locations but some of McFeely’s employees now admit they’ve noticed the image before.

However, he doesn’t know if any of the employees have prayed to it in hopes of getting more vacation time.
