Quiznos’ ‘Baby Bob’ Needs a Job!

GLENDALE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Those Quiznos sub commercials featuring gruff-talking Baby Bob might rub you the wrong way, but you’ve got to feel for the baby playing the part, L’Wren Scoggins. She – yes SHE – is now out of a job.

L’Wren’s father, Nathan Scoggins, explains that at 14 months, his bundle of joy is simply too old for the role. He adds, “The ageism in this industry is so ridiculous.”

L’Wren, pronounced El-Ren, is taking advantage of the hiatus, mostly by learning how to walk and talk. Her first spoken word? “Amen.”

So does little L’Wren sound anything like Baby Bob? According to dad, “It takes about 30-40 cigarettes to get her to do that voice.”

Scoggins says that L’Wren is moving on from Quiznos and is now actively pursuing other opportunities. He jokes, “Come on! She’s been lying around for months putting on baby fat. It’s time to go back to work.”
