PMS Sufferers Getting Some Help From Cows

BERKELEY, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Got PMS? It’s nothing a little milk can’t handle.

According to a study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, calcium cuts the physical and emotional symptoms of PMS in half.

The study specifically found that women on high-calcium diets were less irritable, weepy, and depressed – plus it helped prevent cramping, bloating and backaches.

The revelation has put those in the milk industry in a good “moo-d.”

Jeff Manning, a spokesman for the California Milk Processor Board, says he was just as surprised as others to hear about the beverages’ benefits for “time-of-the-month” sufferers.

He believes men will be just as happy about the news as women – if not more.

Manning says any right-minded boyfriend or husband will take a trip to the supermarket and stock up on the lactose-saturated beverage “in order to be helpful.”

In his words, “Milk and flowers will now be the best gifts to give women during their ‘time.’”
