‘Star Wars’ Fans Line Up For ‘Sith’ Tickets Six Weeks Early

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Star Wars fans are hoping the Force will be with them to withstand six weeks of waiting in line to see the final installment of the sci-fi series, Revenge of the Sith.

Up to 90 Star Wars superfans have joined a line forming in front of Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood since Saturday (Apr. 2) – 48 days before the film’s May 19th opening.

Devotee Elliot Evans has already logged 40 hours in line and hopes to score at least 110 more before opening day, which will be easy for him since he’s currently unemployed.

The fan who spends the most time in line will get the first spot in line for tickets to the 1100-seat capacity theater.

Evans says the mood outside the theater is exciting, with fans playing board games, facing off on Star Wars trivia and boasting how the new film will beat the pants off the other “prequels.”

He says he wouldn’t miss this for the world because, as he puts it, “There’s nothing like being in a theater packed with screaming Star Wars fans agitated after six weeks of being ridiculed.”
