Not All Green Is Created Equally

CAMARILLO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Before you throw on something green today (Mar. 17) in honor of St. Patrick’s day, a color expert wants to shade your influence.

Color marketing expert Barry Ridge says different shades of green suit different people.

For instance, he says folks with fair skin color look best when they wear blue-based green, almost on the teal side.

Meanwhile, Ridge says dark-skinned people are best suited for yellow-based greens like lime-green.

The most typical green associated with St. Patrick’s Day is a Kelly green, which Ridge says is split down the middle between the blue and yellow-based greens.
