Who Wants To Buy My Doggie’s Bladder Stones?

AURORA, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re willing to pay $800 for a quarter-cup of doggie bladder stones, a woman in Aurora, Illinois, wants to talk with you pronto.

Maggie Lawrence is currently auctioning off bladder stones on eBay that were removed last week from her six-year-old cocker spaniel, “Baby.”

She’s hoping to get $800 for the eggshell-colored stones, which range in size from “small and sharp” to “marble-sized.”

The auction ends next Friday (Feb. 28) and time is of the essence for Lawrence, who wants the cash before, as she puts it, “My husband finds out how much the vet charged to remove them.”

The person who buys Baby’s bladder stones will not only get what Lawrence considers to be “an interesting mantelpiece” but also a picture of the pooch and a copy of the vet bill “decoratively arranged.”

Lawrence has no clue what kind of person will buy the bladder stones but suggests that maybe an animal rights-oriented actress might want to string them on a gold chain and wear them to next week’s Academy Awards.
