`Biggest Loser' Weight-Loss Spa Opens In California
A new Biggest Loser weight-loss resort is opening up in Malibu, California, where everyday folks can get as fit as those TV contestants do on the famed Biggest Loser Ranch.

MALIBU, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new weight-loss spa is rolling into California – and it’s exactly like the famous TV Ranch where all those Biggest Loser contestants drop the pounds.The Biggest Loser Resort At Fitness Ridge in Utah is planning to open a second location this fall in Malibu, California – just minutes from the real weight-loss Ranch used on The Biggest Loser.
Guests to the new facility will be offered weight-loss programs that consist of at least six hours of physical exercise a day, including hiking, kickboxing, swimming, and aerobics classes.
They’ll also take on-site cooking classes on how to prepare healthy, low-calorie meals, while maintaining a strict, 1,200 calorie per day regimen that includes dishes like chicken caesar salad and chocolate-covered strawberries.
In the end, the Biggest Loser Resort aims to train guests in adopting a new, healthier lifestyle in every way possible so they can continue to lose weight long after they leave.
