MOBILE, Ala. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Everyone looks sketchy after weeks of watching your back from enemies.

Competing on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains has left recent eliminee James “J.T.” Thomas – booted off in a shocking vote last Thursday (Apr. 22) – questioning people he comes across in the real world.

He describes the reality series as a “special case where everyone is trying to get you.”

This season has been the most “cut-throat” ever, even for Thomas, who originally won Survivor: Tocantins.

After two rounds of battle, the country boy admits it’s not easy to trust new people.

He explains, “I like to think I’m not a suspicious person, but I definitely catch myself trying to read people without asking any questions and figuring out what they’re after, just like on Survivor.

Now that he’s back working on the farm, Thomas can rest easy knowing that at least his chickens aren’t after him.

Survivor airs Thursdays on CBS.
