Cyclists Stop To Boogie
At a bicycling event in San Francisco, it's okay to take a little breather and boogie.

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – At one pedal party, cyclists are allowed to take a break from biking to drop it like it’s hot.The East Bay Bike Party is a monthly gathering of bicycling enthusiasts who don crazy costumes tied to a theme and ride through the East Bay area of San Francisco.
This month’s ride goes down tonight (Jul. 9) and will see bikers in funky, out-of-this-world outfits to match the “Space Party” theme.
Spokesperson Ashley Elliot says the pedalers really get down at the event.
In fact, organizers have rest stops set up along the route where a few impromptu parties have been known to break out.
Elliot shares, “People have a really good time with this. They like to stop and dance. The designated pit stops turn into a dance party, especially since some riders bring boomboxes with them.”
The bikers who blast the best jams tend to get a bigger following, and thus, a bigger party.
