TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest dude booted from The Bachelorette claims he’s not such a bad boy after all.

Craig McKinnon, the big-haired, trouble-making Canadian who was eliminated from The Bachelorette this past Monday (Jun. 4) is proclaiming his innocence.

Although he was portrayed as the entertaining villain on the dating show, McKinnon insists he’s actually a nice, laid- back guy.

In fact, he says his snarky comments on TV were mostly meant as jokes, but the laughing among the guys was cut out.

Although he was dubbed “dangerous” by a rival contestant, McKinnon doesn’t think his bad rap will ruin his chances with the ladies and hopes women can see past it.

That plea isn’t necessarily for bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, though. McKinnon admits he “wasn’t totally interested” in the blonde from the start and simply didn’t feel a spark.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays on ABC.
