In his photographic series Dancers Among Us, Jordan Matter captures professional dancers incorporating their moves into everyday, menial activities.
One dancer was shot leaping gracefully over a puddle with her legs fully extended, while others were captured in similar fashion reading brochures, watching a baseball game, and playing in a kiddie pool.
Matter is inspired to snap dancers because no matter where they go, they bring their passion with them.
He further explains, When you love what you do, its always with you. Even when theyre buying groceries or talking on their cell phone theyre always dancers.
The shutterbug thinks dancers inspire people to seek out their passion and make it part of their daily lives.
If theyre not happy with their life choices, the photos may just give them the kick in the butt to go after their dreams.© Copyright 2010 Wireless Flash News Inc
