Type Tweets The Old-Fashioned Way

If you're interested in preserving your Twitter updates, one man will type them out for you on an old school typewriter.

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Updating your ultra-modern Twitter account can still be done the old-fashioned way.

At least through comedian Patrick Borelli’s latest project, Typed Tweets.

For $3, Borelli will take a person’s Twitter status update and type it up on a manual typewriter, then send it to them via snail mail.

He finds it “funny” that Twitter users “type and create content that only exists on a server” and is not actually tangible in a physical sense.

He figured he’d make Tweets an actual object that can be given as a gift or hung on a wall.

Says Borelli: “Typewriters and hand-typed documents are on the way out, so I’m taking something that is very of the moment and bringing it back in time.”

He’s hoping major Tweeters like Ashton Kutcher and John Mayer hop on the Typed Tweet bandwagon, and bring a little old-timey charm to the social network.
