LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Liberace was so over the top, it makes sense that his birthday would last an entire week.

The Liberace Foundation & Museum in Las Vegas is celebrating what would’ve been Mr. Showmanship’s 91st birthday this Sunday (May 9) through May 16, Liberace’s actual birthday.

The museum – which houses the glitzy entertainer’s rare and antique pianos, classic cars, and sequined costumes – will be honoring its namesake’s birth by offering live concerts, special tours, discounted tickets, and even a chance to strike a pose with Liberace himself.

Madame Tussauds is loaning out their realistic wax figure of The Glitter Man so devoted fans can take pictures with it.

Meanwhile, admission will be only $3.50 – the same amount charged when the museum first opened its doors in 1979.

The birthday week concludes with a special cake-cutting celebration on May 16 and ceremonious performance of “Happy Birthday” for the late icon.
