NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Despite their age, 100-year-olds know plenty about the latest technologies the kids are using these days.Evercare has released its 5th Annual 100@100 Survey where they poll elderly Americans turning 100 all about current times.
Turns out century-old folks are more tech savvy than ever, with 8 percent saying theyve sent someone a text message or IM compared to just 1 percent two years ago.
Another 12 percent of centenarians have listened to music on an iPod, 11 percent have used YouTube, 5 percent have used TiVo, 2 percent have logged onto Facebook, and 1 percent have even tried playing Nintendos Wii Fit.
Additionally, pop culture and celebrity gossip never gets old.
Case-in-point: 57 percent of centenarians would want to have popular comic Betty White over for dinner, followed by Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton, and Michelle Obama.
Two years ago Tiger Woods made their list of coveted celebrity dinner guests, but now 57 percent of centenarians say he wouldnt be invited.
