SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A classic margarita isn’t the only way to toast Cinco De Mayo (May 5).

As long as there’s tequila involved, there’s a wide range of cocktails to be had by hardcore partiers who refer to the Mexican holiday as “Drinko De Mayo.”

A “Tequila Sunrise,” for instance, combines tequila with orange juice and a splash of grenadine. The grenadine is carefully poured down the side of the tilting glass so it sinks and then rises up through the drink, mimicking a sunrise.

Then there’s the “Beergarita,” which contains everything in a regular margarita – tequila, triple sec, and lime juice – with Corona floating on top.

A drink called the “Border Crossing” mixes tequila, lemon juice, and Coca-Cola while a “Bloody Maria” has tequila, tomato juice, and a little pepper sauce.

For a big bash, stir up a batch of “Pink Panty Dropper.” It’s 18 cans of beer mixed with a bottle of tequila and pink lemonade.
