BOULDER, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Blogging isn’t just for young bloods.

Many older folks seem to have a fear of embracing online communication tools like blogging, Facebook, and Twitter, but that’s where social media consultant Beth J. Hayden comes in.

She helps older folks or those who just don’t know how to get started in the virtual world set up their own social network pages or blogs for business or personal use, holding their hand through each step.

Hayden says, “They get a little overwhelmed and are a little scared of technology. They don’t know how to start and they don’t want to do it wrong.”

She suggests anyone wanting to do something other than play Solitaire on their computer embrace the Internet because it’s “never too late” to master technology as long as they’re willing to learn.

In fact, one 70-year-old client took to the web right away and has been a blogging machine ever since.
