Toothbrush Germs Finally Killed

This handy dandy toothbrush promises to keep nasty germs away from its bristles, no matter how dirty your sink is.

This handy dandy toothbrush promises to keep nasty germs away from its bristles, no matter how dirty your sink is.

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Finally, there’s an easy way to bounce back from all those nasty germs on your toothbrush.

With something called the “DEWS” toothbrush, New York-based designers Ryan Yoon and Harc Lee have solved a simple problem for germaphobes who are obsessed with oral hygiene.

Their plastic toothbrush has an elongated, teardrop-like shape and is weighed down at the base of its rounded handle so it maintains a steady center of gravity at all times.

This way, when someone sets it down it always stands upright, keeping the bristles off any dirty, germ-covered bathroom sinks.

In fact, even if it’s dropped, it springs up and lands on its base.

The duo likens the DEWS toothbrush to a “tumble doll,” those blow-up clown punching dolls that always bounce back.

And with the threat of toothbrush germs gone, perhaps people can avoid cleaning the bathroom for longer.
