TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tongues will be wagging this weekend (Jun. 12-13) in Toronto when pooches gather to celebrate free love.

The annual “Woofstock” festival is taking to the streets, where 300,000 humans and 100,000 dogs are expected to unite to celebrate love, peace, and canine companionship.

Woofstock organizer Marlene Cook says it’ll be just like the real 1969 Woodstock – only for dogs, and without bad brownies.

That means many pooches will show up in tie-dye gear, peace sign necklaces, and afro wigs, ready to let the free love flow.

Cook says that unlike Woodstock, however, Woofstock won’t focus much on music since dogs are extremely sensitive to the wailing sounds of drums and guitars.

Still, they’ll have plenty of entertainment on hand with activities like a dog fashion show, a stupid dog trick contest, and pooch pedicure station.

There will also be tons of vendors hawking the latest pup products, including innovative pooper scoopers, sunscreen for hairless dogs, and designer food bowls.
