WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Do you remember Lisa Frank stickers, 3-D Doritos, and the sitcom Step By Step?Hillary Buckholtz does, and shes helping others recall the totally rad toys, snacks, cartoons, TV shows, and other pop culture moments from the 80s and 90s on ImRemembering.com.
There, she posts photos of relics from the past and says the whole thing got started after continuously trying to give her brother nostalgia meltdowns.
Now shes waxing nostalgic with strangers and thinks her blog does more than just bring up memories.
She explains, Its really about the shared experience and closeness. It makes me feel less alone in the world. You feel a sense of loss about growing up, but remembering makes me so happy.
For Buckholtz, those years between age three and eight are really ripe with memories, since thats when most people, in her words, had nothing to do but eat cereal and play.
