SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A loving relationship? There’s an app for that.Apple fans can now fall in “iLove” with Cupidtino, a dating website set to launch this June where Mac users can meet other Apple techies and possibly find their soulmate.
Creator Mel Sampat says diehard Apple lovers usually have a lot in common, including a major appreciation for gadgets and geek culture, so he’s giving them a platform to meet like- minded people.
He continues, “It should make for interesting first dates at the Apple store, and maybe make a great wedding story for some people.”
Many have emailed Sampat thinking the dating service is a hoax, but he assures it’s all real, and thousands have already signed up to join once it launches.
Not all tech geeks are welcome, though.
Cupidtino says it’s a strictly no PC users zone, ensuring that all members will be part of an “exclusive club” of Apple aficionados.
