Plummet 830 Feet To The Street

Daredevils can now plummet 830 feet down from Las Vegas' Stratosphere in the brand new thrill attraction, SkyJump.

The Stratosphere Hotel has added a new thrill to their attractions with the SkyJump, where brave folks strapped to a bungee cord jump 830 feet from the top of the tower descending at speeds of up to 40 mph.

Spokesperson Tim Kuykendall, who’s done the jump twice, says it’s “awesome” and “the most exciting thrill ride in North America,” having attracted people as old as 76.

Those who jump can have their drop filmed, so they can show off their guts to their friends and family.

Though the dive is scream-inducing, Kuykendall says no one has peed or pooped their pants in fear just yet.

However, should someone soil themselves, the staff is trained to deal with the mess.

Kuykendall says those who take the plunge join a “fraternity of jumpers” and “build a camaraderie” with others who’ve completed the feat, while those who chicken out “wear their shame.”
