A burlesque troupe in San Diego is giving geeks wet dreams by performing sexy stripteases dressed up as famous comic book characters like Catwoman. Meow!

ENCINITAS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Comic books are filled with strong, sexy superheroes, and now geeks can see their favorites in the flesh.Those attending the San Diego Comic-Con this week (Jul. 22-25) can get their fill of dweeby eye candy at the Comic Book Burlesque Show happening at Madame Cora’s Marble Room from the “Dollhouse Dames.”
The burlesque troupe will perform sexy stripteases in the style of old vaudeville girly shows as some of the hottest female characters from comic books including Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Princess Leia.
Founder Traci Hauptman says burlesque and comic book babes are a match made of dork heaven.
She explains, “Burlesque shows the strong, sexy side of women, and comic book characters are perfect for that because they’re so strong and sexy too.”
The old adage that “sex sells” also comes to play here, according to Hauptman, because no fanboy can resist seeing their favorite femme fatales shimmy and shake in their skivvies.
