LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Warehouse 13 duo Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly were an odd pairing from the start – even at auditions.

The actors – who play agents on SyFy’s paranormal series, premiering its second season next Tuesday (Jul. 6) – admit their first meeting during the screen test for the show was totally weird.

For starters, Kelly was completely “zen” and relaxed, while McClintock was “freaking out.”

McClintock admits it hadn’t been a good year for callbacks for him so he was visibly fretting over landing the role.

Kelly remembers him as “some dude having a nervous breakdown,” but she was able to “talk him off the ledge.”

Their snappy, impromptu banter sparked instant chemistry and casting directors loved what they saw, but they needed an encore.

Kelly admits they had to go back to set the next day and do their audition all over again because the camera girl forgot to turn on the sound during their original bickering.
