SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s prom season, but teens aren’t the only ones renting tuxes and buying corsages.Urbanist Guide is helping grown folks rekindle their prom memories – and create new ones – by holding a Vintage Prom this Friday (May 7) at the Pearl Hotel in San Diego.
With teens nationwide getting ready for the big school dance, spokesperson Nate Benedetto felt it “might be fun to have a flashback to high school days” for those who’ve long graduated.
This time around will be much better though, because they’re “pre-spiking the punch” and expecting lots of hijinks at the hotel pool.
Adding to the fun is the fact that all attendees are asked to come in fancy attire from decades past, so couples with ’80s big hair and shoulder pads will be shaking a tailfeather next to girls in poofy ’50s dresses.
A prom king and queen will be crowned based on the coolest costume.
