BILLINGS, Mont. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One stuntman is riding through fire all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Gene Sullivan is like a holy version of Evel Knievel – he spreads the word of the Lord by performing extreme jumps on his motorcycle around Montana.

The 63-year-old stuntman revs through an 80-foot jump featuring an eight-by-14-foot wall of fire all to “illustrate our walk of life.”

He says the gap he flies over represents the pitfalls of life, while the wall of fire is a metaphor for the Gates of Hell.

The ramp he lands on has a white cross painted on it, which stands for eternity, something Sullivan says all humans are promised if they walk – or ride – the path of God.

He’s constantly “amazed” by how his stunt affects audiences, and has even seen people leave behind their sinful ways after watching.

Sullivan will jump for Jesus this Saturday (Jul. 24) in Butte, Montana, as part of Evel Knievel Days and expects Jesus will keep him safe.
