HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Elisa Donovan is quickly realizing that being a nice girl is exhausting.Donovan – best known as bad girl Amber from Clueless and Morgan on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch – currently plays a sweet, reliable insurance agent on the freshly-renewed NBC digital short, In Gayle We Trust, airing on ingaylewetrust.com.
Her character is the beloved voice of reason for everyone on the series, but Donovan admits being well-liked is “rough.”
Although she enjoys finally playing the good girl “everyone loves to be around,” Donovan says the role comes with loads of “responsibility” because, in her words, “Everyone wants something from Gayle.”
Donovan never imagined playing nice could be so taxing, and every once in a while, her inner Amber or Morgan slip out on set.
She finds herself getting sassy and copping a little ’tude between takes when she’s really tired, thinking much like her former bad girl alter-egos.
