LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Since his very first day on the job, The Closer star Corey Reynolds has been packing heat.

Reynolds, who plays Kyra Sedgwick’s right-hand man Sgt. David Gabriel on the TNT detective drama, says he’s the only actor on set who wears every single one of his props at all times.

His belt is fully-loaded with a clogged 9MM handgun, a retractable baton, handcuffs, clips, and a badge.

All together, Reynolds says the loot weighs about nine pounds, but he doesn’t mind because it makes him look extra tough.

He explains, “I feel like Batman. I’m strapped and ready for whatever danger comes my way in this imaginary world.”

Reynolds’ comfort level with his gear must show, since he says he’s been mistaken for a real cop on the streets quite a few times, which has its perks.

The sixth season of The Closer is now airing Mondays on TNT.
