Rock Paper Scissors Gets Major Makeover
Will this new version of Rock Paper Scissors beat out the classic hand game?
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 1:40 GMT
London, ONTARIO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Rock Paper Scissors has gotten a complete re-vamp.Writer Mark A. Rayner has taken the classic schoolyard game and created a more awesome version he calls Monkey-Pirate-Robot-Ninja-Zombie.
This version replaces the original Rock Paper Scissors hand gestures with new ones that a monkey, robot, pirate, ninja, or zombie would make, each of which can beat two of the others.
Rayner feels that regular Rock Paper Scissors gets boring, so his take spices things up.
However, not everyone agrees that his changes are good.
People have sent him angry emails saying they dont feel the game should have ever been given a makeover, no matter how cool it is.
Others have embraced it, though, and even praise his creative hand gestures.
Rayner is looking to try his game soon with his equally geeky brother and hopes he can remember all the moves quick enough.
