Outrageous Recipes Take The Cake

Gaming developer Steve Hoffman is an adventurous eater so he created a forum – wildrecipes.com – for fearless foodies to share the outrageous recipes they actually eat.

Though some are quite tasty – like a peanut butter and potato chip sandwich – others are downright disgusting.

Hoffman dubs a concoction known as “The Jug” the nastiest of all. It’s a mix of leftover liquids from meals such as coffee, beer, soup, or sauces all in one cup.

The Jug is then refrigerated for a quick sip any time.

Other wild recipes include lentil soup blended with chocolate pudding, cake topped with pinto beans, and “Cheddar Coffee” – popular in the U.K. – where a slice of cheese is placed inside a cup of java.

When the coffee is gone, the melted cheddar can be slurped.

Hoffman’s dream is to open a restaurant serving only wild recipes so people can spice up their lives through adventurous eating.
