LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One man is attempting a feat of blockbuster proportions: Watching 100 movies in 100 theaters in 100 days.

For the past 55 days, Fandango.com editor Chuck Walton has been catching flicks of all genres in theaters across California, blogging after each screening on fandango.com/movieblog/hundreddays.

So far, he’s watched summertime hits like Toy Story 3 and classics like Grease on different big screens, as well as duds like Marmaduke and Killers.

He’s also sat in every kind of theater imaginable – outdoor, indoor, and completely empty ones – gaining 15 pounds eating concession stand snacks.

Walton admits he feels like a “movie zombie,” and never imagined how tiring the task would actually be. He once did a 14-hour Christian Bale movie marathon, but that was small potatoes compared to this.

He is rallying, however, and off to the East Coast this week to watch even more movies in Boston, Chicago, and NYC cineplexes.

His 100th movie will be The Expendables on August 13.
