`Idol's' Big Mike Is A Big Softy
American Idol's Big Mike may be hefty, but the man also has a seriously sensitive side.

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – American Idol cast-off Michael Lynche may be buff and brawny, but inside, he’s one big softy.Lynche – aka Big Mike – was eliminated from Idol this past Wednesday (May 12) but is happy he got to show “multiple sides” of himself during his run.
He believes that because he’s a Gemini, he has an “extremist personality” with lots and lots of different sides.
For example, even though he’s 6-foot-1, 300 pounds, and can bench press 505 pounds, he’s still a sensitive teddy bear, especially around his five-month-old baby girl, Laila.
Meanwhile, Big Mike also has a serious romantic side, which is why he chose to perform so many love songs on the Idol stage.
Lynche feels there’s no emotion more real or “raw” than being in love and says those types of ditties just “speak” to his soul.
American Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FOX.
