Tuesday, May 4, 2010 17:06 GMTPROVIDENCE, R.I. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) The Amazing Race managed to turn a couple of macho cops into more like an old married couple.
Undercover detectives Michael Naylor and Louie Stravato were eliminated from the global trek this past Sunday (May 2).
The tough duo admit their TV travels brought them closer together than ever including sharing beds between stops and sharing toiletries like toothpaste and shampoo to downsize their luggage.
Stravato jokes that at least their beds were big, so, in his words, We never even grazed each other.
Naylor says they took care of each other throughout the trip and kept one another motivated. Being a tad anal, he even cleaned Stravatos muddy shoes once after a messy challenge in France.
The friends say they had a hell of a time using their sleuthing skills to figure out clues, but no detective work could help them break certain language barriers, especially in China.
The Amazing Race season finale airs this Sunday (May 9) on CBS.© Copyright 2010 Wireless Flash News Inc
