SCOTSDALE, Ariz. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Creedence Clearwater Revival rocker Doug “Cosmo” Clifford never gets sick of the band’s old hits.

The drummer now tours with fellow CCR member Stu Cook in their group Creedence Clearwater Revisited, performing the ditties that made them famous in the late ’60s.

Clifford says they still play with gusto because they’re not burnt out on the songs. Taking a “23-year break” before drumming up their new band in 1995 really helped.

He thinks the second coming of Creedence has also been successful because there’s much less infighting among their new group of guys.

They travel together by bus, so being in the same close quarters gives them plenty of time to resolve any conflicts on the spot.

Clifford also likes the tour bus because they can sleep in the morning after a gig rather than rushing to the airport to catch a flight.
