Nick Cannon And Alison Sweeney Tag-Team Fourth Of July

Nick Cannon and Alison Sweeney are co-hosting Macy's Fourth Of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC this Sunday (Jul. 4), but which emcee will be doing all of the work?

The America’s Got Talent and Biggest Loser emcees will be combining talents on Independence Day (Jul. 4) to co-host NBC’s Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular live from New York City.

The duo are truly tag-teaming the job, since both are relying on the other one’s hosting skills to carry them through.

Sweeney explains, “I’m entirely counting on Nick to be funny, and I’m just gonna sit back and relax.”

However, Cannon says he’s planning on letting Sweeney do the talking.

No matter who does what, both stars are honored to be celebrating America’s freedom.

Sweeney can’t wait to share the moment with her toddler son who recently began recognizing the American flag, and Cannon looks forward to making another fond July 4th memory, like the time he “nearly blew off” his hand playing with fireworks as a kid.
