LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Foodies in London are feasting on 730 years worth of meals.

Just like technology, science, and religion, food has evolved over the centuries and has been a vital part of everyday living. Now, its evolution is being celebrated with “The Complete History of Food” project.

From July 14-18, a Georgian townhouse in London is being converted into a restaurant experience that travels throughout time – 730 years to be exact.

Visitors wander through the five-story house while eating a multi-course meal that charts revolutionary periods in food history, which have all been re-interpreted by some of London’s best chefs.

The further a person goes into the building, the further back in time they go, at one point even eating in a room converted to look like the belly of a dinosaur.

Spokesperson Sam Bompas says the event turns eating into an “interactive food experience” and teaches culinary history to foodies.
