Stoners To Dedicate Pot To Dennis Hopper?

Dennis Hopper (1936-2010) had such an influence on cannabis culture, he deserves to have a strain of weed named in his honor.

So says famed pot activist Craig X Rubin, who runs the medical marijuana church “Temple 420” in Los Angeles.

The cannabis enthusiast says Hopper has been an icon in the pot community ever since his Easy Rider days when he smoked real ganja while filming the movie.

Over the years, Hopper never denied his affinity for Mary Jane and, as Rubin explains, “He made it acceptable to be a pothead.”

Thus, Rubin feels it only makes sense for growers and stoners to name a strain after the late actor, possibly called “The Hopper.”

He adds, “I’d go get an ounce of that right now and get hopped up on The Hopper.”

Rubin knows for a fact that Hopper toked until his dying days because the actor would buy $750 in medical marijuana each week from Rubin’s friend.
