Laundromat Bar And Restaurant Puts Spin On Boring Chore
Dirty Laundry, a restaurant/laundromat opening this fall in Charleston, South Carolina, hopes to take the chore out of fluffling and folding.

Dirty Laundry, slated to open this November, is a laundromat that doubles as a restaurant and bar between tumble cycles.
Co-creator Jason Cronen got the idea for it in college, when he would go to his moms house to do laundry and eat her food.
Though the concept was partially inspired by laundromats of the 1970s that featured snack bars, Dirty Laundry is a full-on eatery.
Cronen says the menu will include salads, smoothies, and paninis, and the bar will be fully stocked with suds, which should make the tedious task of doing laundry much more tolerable.
Folks will be able to mingle between loads, and Cronen plans to keep the laundromat open 24-hours and the bar pouring until 2 AM.
The laundromat and restaurant sides will be divided by a clear wall, so clean clothes wont wind up smelling like food.© Copyright 2010 Wireless Flash News Inc
